Refund Policy

At YAM-a-gram, we put heart, humor, and handwriting into every yam we send. Each one is carefully selected, customized with your message, and shipped to surprise and delight your recipient. That said, we know things don’t always go as planned.

Because our products are perishable and personalized, we do not accept returns. However, we want you to be YAM happy with your order, and we will issue a refund if something goes wrong.

Eligible Refund Reasons

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • Your yam arrives damaged or badly spoiled
  • The handwritten message is incorrect or illegible due to our error

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at refunds@yam-a-gram.com within 7 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo of the issue (e.g. the damaged yam, incorrect or unreadable message)

We’ll review your request and, if approved, issue a full or partial refund to your original payment method.

Please Note:

  • Do not return the yam. Seriously—we love our yams, but we don’t want them back.
  • We are not responsible for incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer.
  • Refunds are issued only after we verify the issue based on the photo evidence.
  • All refund decisions are made at the discretion of the YAM-a-gram team.

Processing Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve reviewed your issue and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
